Break the Business Shackles and Join the Revolution!

There is a revolution happening around us in the business world. It has been happening slowly and most of us haven’t even noticed.

Those at the forefront of the revolution not only do extremely well in business, but they also seem to be sailing through it in a state of bliss. This is true both for people setting up their own businesses as well as those who are high flyers in existing businesses.

Before the revolution, both businesses and top careers were seen primarily as a means of making money.

And then there was a coup.

In the revolution era there was a coup whereby money, the reigning king, was overthrown and replaced by something else. In the revolution making money in business is a given but it is no longer the aim and how, precisely because of this, businesses in the revolution enjoy extraordinary financial success. Making money is an outcome achieved along the way, a very important one too, but it is no longer the driver, no longer the goal or the purpose.

Business people in the revolution use their business and career as an extension of themselves to create something meaningful. They are changemakers and they are doing astonishingly well in this revolution. They are people who follow their dream and do something remarkable. Literally, something that is worth remarking on, and they are very successful. In my book The Freedom Revolution, I show how they are breaking the business shackles, ridding themselves of all the preconceptions and enjoying the freedom; freedom to pursue their passion, their dream, purpose and to be happy.

In the revolution you, the changemaker within a business or the business founder, are a creator, an artist and, by definition, you revolt. In this era, you revolt to set yourself free to pursue your purpose and dream, and then set others free to pursue theirs. You will be making money as a result but not as your prime target. This will involve financial and emotional risk as well as putting your personal reputation at stake, but your return on investment is your freedom. And that is the best ROI out there.

It is only when you are free and your business or career drive is fuelled by a purpose that is truly aligned with your passion and core values, that you suddenly feel elated. You feel enlightened, present and full of consciousness. You feel alive like you have never felt before. This is when you know that freedom has trumped fear and you just know you can do it!

Whatever you are expecting that sense of freedom to be, however you think it will feel, it won’t be that.

It is going to be so much better.
